Nature Brings Solace

Hello everyone,

I hope you are well and enjoying your long weekend if Labour Day exists where you are.  Well, the leaves on my neighbour's tree have started to turn yellow and now that the kids are returning to school, it is hard to deny that fall is on its way.  I was inspired by the changing season to create this card:

I think this is the first landscape I have ever coloured, so please be gentle :o)  For all the details and supplies used on this card, please visit my Showcase Monday post (here) on the Scrapbooker's Paradise blog.

Thanks so much for popping by and for taking the time to leave a comment.  I really appreciate each one.

Hugs & happy crafting,

Dawn

Dawn, it's gorgeous! I love how you coloured the trees - and the layout, the multi-loop bow, the scattered leaves...it's beautiful. Our kids go back Thursday, and I'm SO READY. I don't think THEY are but boy....it's time. lol

Dawn, such a lovely, peaceful, beautiful creation with the prettiest colors and shading. Love your "carefree" leaves gently floating on the side of your image panel, and the pretty background papers and twine. Perfect for anyone, and especially someone who needs to feel Blessed Peace. Thanks for sharing your masterpiece! hugs, de

Your first landscape Dawn?? Your colouring is so pretty! You have even added the red colour of the boat as a shade in the water, wow, I'm impressed! Hugs, Ira x

Hello! Sorry I have not been around to visit your blog much lately. Summer got really busy. But now it's September, and life is a bit calmer. Hope you had a great summer!

Your card is so pretty. It has a serene feel to it.
