I hope you are well! Hooray it is almost the weekend!! Maybe I'll be able to get some sleep :)
Today starts a new Playing in Paradise Sketch challenge and this month it is my turn to host. I went completely out of my comfort zone when putting together this sketch - I wanted it to be different. I think it is perfect for using up scraps or washi tape. Here is my card:
I love this sweet image by Sylvia Zet for Whimsy! It was also fun to do something with a modern twist on traditional colours.
Supplies:
White cardstock
Echo Park 34th Street paper
Tissue paper
Cheery Lynn French Pastry doily die
Berry stamp by Whimsy
Watercolour cardstock
Black Stazon ink pad
Distress inks (antique linen, frayed burlap, barn door, tattered rose, shabby shutters, tumbled glass, black soot)
Tim Holtz Christmas Stacked Words die
Pearls
Holly leaves
Here is my sketch:
I hope you will pop by the Playing in Paradise Challenge to check out the beautiful creations the team and our guest have made. Then pull out those scraps and join in the fun! I would love to see what you create with my sketch :) To sweeten the deal, there is always a fab prize up for grabs and a chance to guest design in a future challenge.
Hugs & happy crafting,
Dawn

Oh my gosh! So very sweet! Your colouring is just amazing. (I'm taking classes to learn how to use Copics and sure struggle with faces.) Love the shabby shutters green! Very festive!
